CINCO DE MAYO

Yes! I finally got the chance to hang out with my friends and go out and enjoy myself. I got all my homework done last night and made the decision to go out and celebrate Cinco de Mayo.
I had a blast, it definitely took me back to the good old days of when I first started college, not really a care in the world. I was trying to meet new people, see the party life, and have fun.
Nowadays it is rather harder to get out and about in the party scene, now I am more grown up. I actually have more responsibilities that your average 18 year old. Also, the classes I have been taking are increasing in work load. It is amazing to see how much you can party, hang out, and do anything else but your homework and still manage to pass. If I tried to get away with that now, I do not think I would be able to say that I am graduating in a few weeks.
I am definitely not the same 18 year old who started here at SJSU five years ago. Now I am the 22 year old graduating and moving onto the real world. I am just shocked that 5 years has gone by so fast! I am sad that it has gone by so fast, I wish I could slow down the time and be able to relax. I am almost even jealous of my friends who are not graduating, but then there goes my conflict again. HaHa why would I want to stay and do more homework and projects, when I could be out in the real world and making some big bucks, or at least I hope I make the big bucks.
I tell you, graduating definitely is one of the happiest/saddest times I will have as a college student!
